BSA Law has welcomed the introduction by Thailand’s Tourist Police of a virtual application downloadable to smartphones and other devices, that promises better protection and assistance for the kingdom’s millions of annual visitors.

Bangkok – Launched in April 2013, the ‘Tourist Buddy’ application can be downloaded free from the iTunes store and Tourist Police officers said it would also soon be available in the Android store.

Initially available for iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad, Tourist Buddy provides travel and safety information for tourists and travellers around..
